“The Price Is Wrong, Bitch!” One of the most memorable scenes from 1996’s Happy Gilmore was when The Price Is Right host Bob Barker got into a fistfight with Happy (Adam Sandler) on the golf course. For Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars telethon to support autism programs, Barker, now 91, and Sandler, now 48, got together to recreate their famous battle.
Wearing Happy’s signature hockey jersey and sitting at Barker’s hospital bed, Sandler addressed the crowd, saying, “Hi everybody, as you’ve probably guessed, Bob Barker and I haven’t spoken in many years.”
“That’s right, not since Happy Gilmore. But we know that providing schools and services for people with autism is too important,” Barker added.
When Sandler tries to help feed Barker his soup, the famed TV host starts trash-talking the comedian.
“If I had known that I had to toss your salad to be in another one [of your movies], I would have, but Rob Schneider didn’t send me the memo!” Barker sniped.
